SLOG is a personal life stream for conversations, photos, videos, links and saved memories. You choose what to share and where your originals live.
Members join through private invitations. Sign in with your SLOG screen name to post, follow your circle’s timeline and keep references to shared memories. Google Drive is an optional storage connection, separate from your SLOG sign-in.
Your files stay in storage you choose
Keep originals in this browser on your device, save selected originals in your own connected Google Drive, or use a reachable storage link. SLOG keeps the account, reference and permission records needed to bring your life stream together.
A device-only original may be unavailable on another device. A connected Drive original can be streamed through SLOG to an authorized viewer while the owner’s phone is offline.
Use your own account
Connect Google Drive from your password-unlocked SLOG Admin. Google asks for your consent on its own screen.
Save selected originals
Choose Drive for a conversation or attachment before saving it. Connecting Drive does not upload old device files automatically.
Pick your audience
Choose Only me or your circle. Your current permissions are checked when a viewer opens a connected original.
A limited Google Drive connection
SLOG requests access only to the specific Drive files used with this app. It uses that connection to save originals you select and serve them through SLOG’s access-checked player. It does not request access to scan your entire Drive. Each member connects their own account.
Disconnecting in Admin blocks SLOG’s further use of that connection and leaves your files in your Drive. You can also revoke SLOG through your Google Account settings.
Know what is shared
Timeline posts and originals follow the permissions you choose. Only-me posts remain private unless you explicitly share them. Private replies and circle chat have their own recipients. The community Board is visible to active SLOG members.
Shared third-party links and media can depend on the provider’s availability, sign-in and embedding rules. A watermark discourages copying but cannot prevent screenshots or recording.
